Svarga Loka Resort

Svarga Loka Resort, Heavenly Kingdom

Svarga Loka Resort is a 45-room wellness resort dedicated to optimal healing and wellness in Ubud, Bali, Indonesia. Named after the Hindu epic poem, the Mahabharata’s Svarga Loka, or “Heavenly Kingdom” – a heavenly paradise for the Hindu Gods, Svarga Loka sits on the riverbanks of Ubud’s beautiful Campuhan river, also known as “love river”, which is deeply revered by Balinese people for its cleansing and rejuvenating properties. A hidden gem, the resort is a comfortable 90 minutes drive from Bali I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport and just a 10 minute walk to the center of Ubud.

The owners wish is that Svarga Loka help every guest build their dreams for a fulfilled and happy life. Local priests and healers have confirmed that the land on which Svarga Loka sits is full of powerful energy. To honor the land and its gifts, Svarga Loka was built in a respectful and environmentally conscious manner, without moving a single tree. Great care was taken in designing the resort to use eco-friendly architecture and landscaping techniques, allowing it to blend in seamlessly with natural surroundings. The result is a truly unique environment where the pools, yoga shalas and rooms are interspersed between natural boulders, banyan trees and tropical foliage and flowers. Guests benefit from both the property’s wellness services and the magical energy upon which Svarga Loka sits.
